in the name of god amen I Ann Chaplin of the parish of Earls Colne in the county of Essex victualler being in good health and of sound mind memory and understanding thanks be to god for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I do direct my executors hereinafter named to pay all my just debts and after payment of my just debts as aforesaid funeral expenses and probate of this my last will and testament I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate and effects money and securities for money and all other my effects of whatsoever nature kind or quality so ever the same may be which I may be possessed of at the time of my decease unto my niece Mary Eliz Inman now living with me to and for her own use absolutely and forever and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said niece Mary Eliz Inman executrix and mr Peter Gardener of Earls Colne aforesaid maltster executor to this my last will and testament and hereby revoking all other will or wills by me at any time heretofore made do declare this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 8.8.1836 Ann Chaplin signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix Ann Chaplin in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence have of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses Sam Wenden Isaac Joslin Watson both of Earls Colne
