this is the last will and testament of Thos Neave of Earls Colne I give and bequeath to my cousins Jn Neave Norton a cooper residing at Witham and to his sister Marianne all my monies which may at the time of my decease be lodged in the Halsted Savings Bank (the book whereof is in the hands of mr H.H. Carwardine ) to be divided equally between them share and share alike after payment therefrom of all my just debts and expenses of my funeral which I desire may be conducted in a decent manner and in the church yard of the parish wherein I may happen to die and whatsoever other money or personal property I may died possessed of I give and bequeath the same to my relation Francis Dowset and his wife carpenter at Sible Hedingham and I constitute and appoint the before mentioned Jn Neave Norton my sole executor in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 16.4.1838 Thos Neave signed sealed and delivered by the said testator Thos Neave and declared to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses H.H.
