this is the last will and testament of me Wm Stuttor of Earls Colne in the county of Essex linen draper first I nominate and appoint my brother Geo Newman Stuttor to be executor and trustee of this my will I give and bequeath to the said Geo Newman Stuttor the sum of £300 upon trust to lend the same to my brother Chas Stuttor upon his promissory note for the term of four five or six years at £4 per cent interest such interest to be received half yearly by the said Geo Newman Stuttor and paid to my father and mother and the survivor of them to whom I give and bequeath such interest accordingly and so soon as the said promissory note shall be paid off I direct that the said sum of £300 shall be invested in the public stocks or funds of Great Britain or upon real security in the name of the said Geo Newman Stuttor the dividends and interest whereof shall in like manner be paid to my said father and mother and the survivor of them and from and after their decease upon trust to pay one third part of the produce of the said sum of £300 to my sister Mary Eliz Stuttor and another third part thereof to my sister Ann Stuttor to whom respectively I give and bequeath the same accordingly and one moiety of the remaining third part of the produce of the said sum of £300 I give and bequeath to my said brother Geo Newman Stuttor and the other moiety thereof I give and bequeath equally between my brother Geo Stuttor and my said brother Chas Stuttor all the rest and residue of my estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever after payment of my just debts and testamentary expenses I give and bequeath to my father absolutely and I hereby revoke all other wills in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 31.3.1842 Wm Stuttor signed by the said testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses Fred Tawell Jas Augustus Tawell
