this is the last will and testament of me Lucy Maria Revett of Mills Farm in the parish of Earls Colne in the county of Essex widow I appoint Geo Newman Stuttor of Castle Hedingham in the county of Essex butcher and Thos Taylor of Earls Colne aforesaid farmer executors of this my will I give to each of them the said Geo Newman Stuttor and Thos Taylor the legacy of sum of £50 for their care and trouble in or about the execution of this my will to be paid to them free of legacy duty which I direct them to pay out of my residuary personal estate I give and bequeath all my real and the residue of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever which I shall be possessed of or entitled to at the time of my decease unto the said Geo Newman Stuttor and Thos Taylor their heirs executors and administrators respectively upon trust as soon as can be after my decease to collect get in and receive all such money as shall be then due to me and to sell and convert into money my said real estate and such part of my said residuary personal estate as shall not consist of money or stock in the public funds or be upon real security and thereout to pay and discharge all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and the legacies herein before given and do and shall stand possessed of all the then residue of the said monies upon trust for Jas Herbert Willis of Gibraltar nephew of my said late husband Jeff Revett and Ann Clive the wife of the rev     Fimmins of West Malling in the county of Kent clerk (niece of my late husband) equally to be divided between them and my will is that the sum of money to which the said Ann Clive Fimmins shall become entitled under this my will shall be paid to such person or persons or settled of assured in such manner as she shall whether covert or sole direct or appoint and in default of appointment into the proper hands of the said Ann Clive Fimmins for her sole and separate use from the control debts or engagements of any husband to whom she may be married and I declare that the receipts in writing of the said Ann Clive Fimmins or receipts of any person or persons from time to time appointed by any note or writing under her hand for any money payable to her shall notwithstanding her coverture be a good and sufficient discharge to the person or persons chargeable with the payment thereof in witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament set my hand this 24.4.1854 Lucy Maria Revett signed by the said Lucy Maria Revett the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses Fred Harding Cawston plumber Earls Colne Essex Jn Kerlogue inn keeper Earls Colne
