Kelvedon to our monthly meeting there holden came Thos Barnard jun of Kinston (sic) and Anna Hanbury daughter of Jn Hanbury of Coggeshall and declared their intentions of taking each other in marriage the young man brought a certificate signifying his parents consent thereto and he is desired to bring a certificate from Kingston monthly meeting of his clearness and conversation to our next monthly meeting this meeting appoints Prisc Ludgater and Ann Greenwood to enquire after after the clearness and conversation of the young woman and to make report thereof Thos Barnard jun Anna Hanbury
