Mary Grauntt of Earls Colne single taken before sir Thos Lucas knight upon the complaint of Myhill Drybutter Annanyas Cassere Davy Lamott Jacob Demitter and Jn Vangavor dutchmen of the town of Colchester she confesses that upon monday last was two weeks she received of the aforesaid Myhill Drybutter 16lb of wool to spin for him priced 13d the lb as also one pair of wool cards price 20d she received likewise of the above Annanyas Cassere about three weeks past 3lb of wool to spin price 13d the lb also of the abovenamed Davy Lamott about two months past 11lb of wool to spin price 13d the lb of Jacob Demitter upon friday last was seven night 24lb of wool to spin price 13d the lb also of the abovenamed Jn Vangavor about two months past 5lb of wool to spin price 13d the lb all which aforesaid parcels of wool so received as aforesaid she never redelivered again to the owners but sold the same away to these persons hereunder named at mean prices converting the same to her own use to the great hindrance and loss of the poor men to wit to Judith Paine of Earls Colne 12lb at 5d the lb to Cicily Sparrowe of the same (Earls Colne) 30lb at 5d and 6d the lb to Joan Turnor of the same (Earls Colne) 15lb at 6d the lb
