Edw Peartree of Earls Colne butcher to keep the peace towards Robt Watson petty chapman defaulted estreated (added in the justices hand) Peartree and Watson the night before the taking of this recognisance did fall out and then agreed to meet the next day to fight it out and they both being gone towards the place appointed they were apprehended by the constable of Earls Colne and brought before me for this cause I have bound them over
