Caleb Maysent of Earls Colne labourer 19.5. at Pebmarsh intermeddled as bailiff of sir Chas Tyrell bart the sheriff in the execution of a warrant of the sheriff for the arrest of Isaac Towers at the suit of     Godfrey widow on a plea of debt for 20s founded on a writ called a quo minus issuing out of the king's bench directed to the sheriff and returnable before the exchequer in easter 1696 upon which Maysent on the same day arrested Towers whereas Maysent had not taken the oath of office witness Towers
