examination of Rich Raymond abovesaid taken the justice same day he saith that on thursday last he was with others at the house of Barth Northcliff of Gaines Colne until eleven of the clock in the night and came then directly from thence home and went to bed and stirred not out of his house until the next morning and denieth that he had the pigs wherewith he is charged and being asked whether he threw out the caul of a pig in a pail full of bloody water on friday the next day following he saith he did not but that he threw out a pail of bloody water in which water there had been a chicken which was dressed for his wife Rich Raymond
