text: Another effect of the war is the amount of salvage which has entered Naga households. The house of a gaonbura abounds in every description of bottle and is for all the world like a chemist's shop. Discarded rubber tyres and fragments of cars are another common sight while in another house a thermos flask vied for notice with the mithan skulls.
