text: Besides these private houses all the morungs have massive pillars with carved heads and mithans, and in one which has only recently been repaired, house-horns in new wood have also been tied to the thatch.
text: When a pillar is installed, whether by a village or a private person, the tree is first cut and carved in the forest and after that is dragged to its site by all the boys and men.
