text: As in Tseminyu, all girls are entered in dormitories from the age of seven or eight and these are all arranged in private houses. One dormitory which I saw had six members and, as noted by Mills, the sleeping platform is close to the floor. It did not strike me however as unduly accessible for it stood in the main inner room a little to one side of the house fire, and romancing boys would need not only to cross the outer porch but run the gauntlet of the couple in whose house it lies.
