A long and tiresome march to Litami. The path goes steeply down to the Doyang and then rises even more steeply for 4 miles to the other side. I was so exhausted at the top that I spent the rest of the day writing by the fire. During the night I recalled with envy Miss Nancy Ellecot who strode across the hills and broke them. I have yet to break these enormous hills.
