S.D.O's no. 1340G dt. 30/1/1936: The Tangsa khel of Yongya were invited to a feast by two khels of Kamahu but were waylaid by the two khels. Some few years ago Tangsa (to help them in their war with Kamahu) hired two Yongya assassins who lost their heads. later their relatives took a Kamahu head for which apparently they were fined Rs. 150/-. Kamahu later wanted to make friends with Yongya but when Yongya did visit Kamahu they were set upon by the hostile khels. S.D.O. suggested that the Rs. 150/- should be paid as compensation to Yongya and other khels of Kamahu to settle the matter. A Solemn peace treaty was then made in presence of the S.D.O. |
