text: S.D.O's no. 1998G dt. 9/3/39: reports that Yongam beheaded a lunatic of Longching, thinking he came from Chinglong. Mongnyu then got frightened and asked that these two villages should in their quarrels not cross their, Mongnyu's, land. A D.B. sent to settle by fine if possible but Longching would not compromise the case and the D.B. also reported that Mongnyu had been fired on by Longching, Mohung and Chinglang (Chingchang) with about 100 guns (use of guns in our control area had been forbidden by Govt. in their telegram no. 247A.P. dt. 6/1/33.)
