text: | Sema Y posts. eg. Sakhalu - still standing. In Yehimi the custom was a new Y post for every mithan killed. The Y is a 'mithan's horns' - the post is used both as apparatus for the killing - to tie the animal in position - and as a memorial of the feast. |
