text: My dear Sir,
text: I received your letter dt. 12/2/49 on 2/4/49, and was very much glad to see your letter as if meeting you. I lost your address so I did not write you please don't mind for it.
text: We are greatly anxious to meet you if you come up here when you next come to India.
text: Regarding our Sangtams - it is the same as you left, and the Southern Sangtam is not yet under the Government; but we hope that the Govt. will take soon. No road is yet made towards Yimsungr side. Regarding the Tuensang headquarters - it is the same as you left. No place for Sangtam Tribal Court is yet settled but the M.E. School is at Shuzong and not yet taken over by the Government. No Dispensary is yet opened. Chuba is now at Tuensang as Head DB, and Aokukyu is also at Tuensang, both Senha Kawots senior and junior are at Mokokchung. My sugar cane is giving profit at present and the shop is running well without loss at present.
