text: Gadiliu. (Rather like a Tahitian woman in a Gauguin)
text: Hiutsingang - G's brother
text: Adinlu - G's original name
text: Lotonung - G's father
text: Lonkau - birthplace - Kabui country, Manipur - other villages came to pronounce Gadiliu - Jadunang - son of G's grandmother.
text: Namila - the god's name - Jadunang built a shrine for Namila. The Manipuris were always coming to our villages. They broke in and stole our things the day they attacked Jadunang's house. He got out his gun and shot them. This began it all. Jadunang used to take G. round with him - He himself would kill people and then said that G had done it - people began to reverence G as if she were Jadunang.
text: Pilkwen village - Jadunang was born in. 'The Nagas revered Jadunang because of the great shrine he had built'. 'They revered G because she went about with Jadunang'.
text: G was 15 when she was sent to jail - in jail 13 years, now about 30.
