text: My dear Sir,
text: Many thanks for your letter of April 24th. The suggestion you have given seems to aim at the solidarity of the Naga Nation which the N.N.C. has declared to be its ultimate goal. Your letter was received just five minutes ago and the Dobashi is waiting for a word from me and it is yet too early to pass any decided opinion on it. Anyway, personally I feel the idea is quite genuine and I wish the N.N.C. would adopt a measure to accept a scheme of this kind. I will take up the matter with some friends privately as if it were coming from me.
text: The notice was so short that I could not attend the last N.N.C. meeting at Kohima on 11th inst. They have authorized five members to draw up a draft constitution for the Naga Hills. I am one of the members and the sitting begins on May 1st at Kohima. So I am leaving Mokokchung on April 29. I am so sorry that I cannot be here when you return. I know if I could be here on your return I shall be able to get more suggestions which will be of direct help to the drawing up of the constitution.
text: Anyhow I am again very glad to get these suggestions just in the nick of time.
text: The Asstt. Inspector of Schools is here now and he will inspect our school this morning ... Mayang Nokcha
