text: While Butler waded, up to his waist, in water, or crawled on his hands and knees through creepers and dense jungle, or wrestled with leeches and malaria, he was supported by one thing, his Victorian confidence 'that the Nagas need have no fear as, for the future, they would always have a Sahib living among them to look after their welfare.'
text: Less than seventy five years later, the last Sahibs are leaving and every Naga is wondering 'What now?'
