| text: | 20 October. Yongyimti. |
| text: | Today the path wound through the rice and millet fields. Huge tumbled hills sprawled all around, there was a glowering grey sky and wisps of mist curled across the hills. With its swirling agitated forms, it was like a Van Gogh landscape writhing with tortured grace. |
| text: | The last mile was a rocky footpath rising steeply to the Chang village of Yongyimti. At Lungkhung we were still amongst the Aos. Now we are in Chang Naga country. |
