text: Throughout the day mist has been shrouding the hill-top but at sunset it has suddenly cleared. There is now a (112) piercingly clear blue sky streaked with flakes of silver, while huddled far below are wild red clouds hiding the plains and all the lower valleys. A chilly wind is coming up from the valleys and we are in for a cold and bitter night.
