text: Early in the morning it poured with rain but at seven o'clock it cleared up and Mills and I could get started on the census of the village of Terocheswemi. Smith stayed at home as the last days had rather taken it out of him. From Sathazumi the path continuously went up hill until we must have reached a height of far over 6000 feet. Here the original Terocheswemi was situated and one can still see the old fortification walls (60) and the terraces which once supported the houses
