text: | In the afternoon several Konyaks came, among them people from beyond the border. We mostly asked them about migrations and village foundations. An ancient man from Chong-we said that the people of that village originally lived somewhere on the Piang-kon, then moved on to found Kung-chang in the Sowa or Sowr land, then Pukchung in the Mohung land, then Ye-chang near Chong-we, and finally the place itself. |
