text: A young man from the same village wore a strange head ornament. His long hair is first held together by a palm leaf, then it is wound in a knot around a flat wooden stick which is worn horizontally. Five heads are carved on this wooden stick and several holes have been bored all in a row. The heads are the signs of five taken heads, two from Longmien, three from Cho-ha (photos. film 16 no. 11-13)
