We went on after only a short break in one of the morungs. We refused the rice beer offered to us as during the last few days some people had died of dysentery here as well. The path goes uphill away from the village up to a view point with stone seats and overshadowed by trees. From here one has a view far into the country across the jhum fields of Wanching over the dense jungle in the valleys through which the Dikhu winds itself in big loops towards Tamlu on the opposite mountain slopes and onto the villages Yungya and Tangsa which is unadministered area. |
