text: (106) Before lunch we reached the Inspector's Bungalow which is almost a mile away from the village. For tea we went to Blah's whose bungalow is in a big beautiful garden. Afterwards a dance of the schoolboys had been arranged in a meadow near the fort. The biggest of them must be at least eighteen years old. They were wearing the complete warriors' costume, hornbill feathers stuck into the hairband of bear skin, wide red ribbons crossed over chest and shoulders, the loin cloth embroidered with cowrie shells, the quiver for panjis which is worn as a tail from which long red goats' hair hangs down and finally dao and spear
