text: Here we were joined by a Chantongia man who was very nice and talkative and he told us that he had been to France during the war with the Naga Labour Corps (110) and that their ship was torpedoed near Marseilles and sank but no Naga lost his life. Now he is quite satisfied to work his fields here in Chantongia. Mills former dobashi, Lente, is married to his sister. In Akoia we went to Lente's house but he was in his fields. My new Chantongia friend as well as Lente are "heathens" and probably are better men than most of the little lambs of the American Baptist Mission. Lente's sister is married to a former minister of the Mission who finally was defrocked because he had too many women.
