text: (137) Wakching 27/7/1936. My birthday did not distinguish itself by its nice weather. It was already raining in the morning and throughout the day several heavy showers descended. In the morning the gaonburas Yongang and Chinyang came and I talked with them about work in the fields. The names of the months here starting from about January are: Tai-li, Tepi-li, Ou-ling-li, Lingha-li, Ponglong-pong-li, Lia, Dangla (that is the present month), Ou-nyi-li, Noklet-li, Shonpan-li, Shonam-li, Wang-tu-li. Planting starts in Tai-li.
