During Tepi-li the field huts are set up and planting continues. During Ou-ling-li is the great Ou-ling-phu, when mithan, buffalo, pigs and goats are slaughtered. (details notebook 2. p 82 following). Weeding starts in Lingha-li. It is also when Lingha-bu is held. It is similar to Ou-ling-phu but smaller and lasts only for a day. A pig is killed during Ponglong-pong-li and its head is put up on the path leading to the fields "to get a good harvest". (138) Weeding continues in Lia and Dangla but there are no feasts. |
