text: In the afternoon I went to the Ang morung where I met Liem-nie the elder of the morung who for the Ou-ling-bu slaughters a pig at a fenced-in bush next to the morung and simultaneously addresses Gha-wang. (text notebook 3 p. 3). I also made a list of the inhabitants of several houses nearby and I discovered that my little friend Dzeam-ang's oldest brother Liem-nie lives with his wife in Nga-mang's house, his father's oldest brother, because the latter has no sons but only three married daughters. It already was dark when I came home. In the evening I wrote Pater W. Schmidt about the phonetics of the Wakching language.
