text: One of the more than 4 metres long pounding boards in the central room had a big hole. When I commented about that Chinyang told me that this had happened last winter when the young men from Chintang visited the The-phong morung and danced all night long with the The-phong girls in the big room. I was very surprised about the information, but others agreed that for the ceremonial visit of young men from other villages the Wakching girls may enter their own morung in order to dance with the guests.
