The leaf which had contained the water is now spread out and placed next to five leaves of the same size (205) which are turned upside down in front of the door. They are important for today's genna "as there is much sickness in the village" the pig is not singed but is scorched with boiling water. We now return to Ahon's house. He places five of the same longitudinal leaves in front of his door and sprinkles some madhu made from red rice over them. Simultaneously he mumbles "wild pigs and enemy heads, may they come. May much rice come. May it gather quickly". (notebook 4 p. 48). |
