text: | In Chinyang's youth Wakching still bought its salt from Chi and Mon. It was traded in stick form, as long and thick as a man's lower arm and for two such sticks Wakching gave one dao. Some villages in the east exported a lot of salt and Hemching (Dubniu) even acquired its name because of this trade, 'Hem' meaning salt. |
