text: When we then come to Chinyang's he is wearing a strange hat. The reason is that he is wearing the headdress for this ceremony which used to be worn for the Ou-nie-bu in the old days. In those days a head was captured at this time and then a feast was celebrated with dancing and ceremonial dress. Since they may no longer capture heads they also can no longer dance for the Ou-nie-bu. It is different for the Ou-ling-bu for which even in former times it was not a necessary prerequisite for the dance to bring home a head.
