text: There now men women and children stand in the water armed with all kinds of nets. The women mostly with small round ones with a frame or with buckets. (15) The men often with bigger ones weighed down at the edge which they throw skilfully. Some also swim in the water and hope to thus catch a fish which has been stunned by the poison but as far as I can see the catch is not too numerous. Although the bodies of small silvery fish glitter at the belts of some young men, there are many who have none and most come away empty. But the fishing expedition is not over yet
