text: Still rain but I feel better and use the day by letting Dr Veiyera's chaprasi, an old Kohima man, tell me about the feast of merit of the Kohima Angami. (see notebook 1, p.33 ) Most interesting about it that the feast culminates prior to the stone placing in the erection of a wooden forked post which is dragged into the village like a menhir.
