text: On the way there I heard that on the mountain ridge behind which lies Shiong there once was a colony from Totok. Even now people still remember where the morungs once stood but it could not hold out in the battle with Chui. The Totok people returned to their village but Chui people founded Shiong which gets it name from the fact that Wakching always grew millet, that is 'shi' on the site.
