A group of girls was just standing on the pile but when they saw my camera they shouted and squeaked and ran down the slope towards the still uncut rice which they now attacked in a long rows. The bundles they then carried over their shoulders up to the field hut. It was despairing how shy they were. When they only saw my camera they already dashed away or crouched even deeper into the rice stalks. (60) In addition the sun came out only for a few minutes from behind the clouds which now again after a beautiful morning slowly drift across the sky in huge piles |
