text: I initially refuse the invitation to go into the house of one of the gaonburas and sit down in the morung. Here one sits more comfortably and has more light to write by. Because I ask for it, wood and bamboo are put onto the quietly smouldering fire. Soon we warm and dry ourselves near the flames.
