text: (82) This morung in the direction of Wakching is called Yanhai. The other which dominates the exit towards Punkhung is Yanlem. The morungs are exogamous and each morung contains three clans (see notebook 8 p. 6). Even the Ang whose morung is the Yanlem is not allowed to take any girls from the other two clans of his morung. For his first wife of course he usually would take an Ang daughter from another village. The Ang family is an old one in Tanhai.
