text: Early in the afternoon we heard crying and mourning, a boy was buried. The procession went past the morung. In front went an old man from the deceased's clan in full headdress. Behind him were four old men, among them my friend Shopong who carried the corpse wrapped up in a red cloth on a mat. Then several men followed, a woman with a dead chicken, several boys and girls.
