text: We were received by the Ang and two gaonburas. The Ang is simply dressed and without head ornament. One of the gaonburas is wearing a cap made of wild cat fur while the head of the other is adorned with a rolled up woollen hat. The rice beer offered to me is excellent and quite strong. I drink a lot and am slightly light headed when we go on. Thank goodness the village is very close.
