text: There is quite a fine for adultery in the first instance. If it happens again the husband and his clans' people beat up the culprit. The woman will be scolded at first, if it happens again she is divorced. Adultery with the wife of an Ang used to be punished with exile and initially even with death. Several Nganting men, the Ang among them
