text: At first we take care of Tsampio. His stretcher is carried by two men at a time with the help of ropes around their foreheads. It is a rather shaky affair and I do not envy Tsampio. In Punkhung he will be taken over by coolies from there and finally by coolies from Tanhai so that he will reach Wakching tonight. He soon wants to go to Kohima and I doubt that I can take him again.
