text: The water of the river looked fresh and cold and soon I followed Chingai's example who was already happily swimming around in it. It did not disappoint me. It was of a pleasant coolness and so deep in this place that I could just barely reach the bottom. As it was so nice here I ate my sandwiches now and had a brief rest during which some Mon people came by on their way home from the plain.
