text: (165) The one from the Balang announces the genna for destroying worms and grass-hoppers (see notebook 6) and the Oukheang Neangba announces the genna which starts the prohibition on beating the gong and blowing buffalo horns. The Neangbas of the The-pong and Bala have no special function. Apart from Chinkak the morung Ang of the Balang, Dzemang is the only true Ang. He received a leg from every animal killed for morung gennas and in addition the Balang people work on his fields. He also receives tribute from Kongan. The other morung Angs do not receive parts of sacrificed animals nor do they get free labour.
