text: (167) Chintang which has an altitude of only 2539 ft. is quite a nice little village. The houses huddle closely together and the rice granaries too are built in narrow rows within the fenced in area of the village. They stand on poles. Of the two morungs the Ou-hui, the Ang's morung, is the biggest, and the imposing quality of the big stamping boards and the wealth of carvings exceeds even the morungs of Wakching.
