Not much happened today. I heard that formerly when a rich man killed a buffalo a forked post was set up and the buffalo was tied to it and then killed. That is because the buffalo is too big to be killed in the house. Apparently there was no ceremony connected with setting up the forked post. People who sacrificed buffalo did not wear a particular cloth, only head-hunters wore either a red cloth with a certain pattern, or a red and black Ao cloth. |
