text: Everyone is very busy with preparations and I took care of part of my correspondence. More and more coolies are coming together. In the evening we ate with Mills in the Inspection bungalow. Major Williams seems to be very nice. Mills still met Kauffmann in Kohima who apparently wants to concentrate on botanical and agricultural matters.
